A variety of in-home therapeutic and counseling services for youth and their families are offered:
  • Redirection Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST) – In the Tallahassee, FL area, Eckerd provides intensive in-home family and community-based treatment that addresses multiple aspects of serious antisocial behavior in dually-served children and adolescents, ages 12 – 17, and their families.
  • Diversion – In a five parish region of northern Louisiana, Eckerd provides an intensive diversion program serving juvenile offenders, ages 10 – 17.
  • Community Supervision/Alternatives to Detention – In the Dallas, TX area, Eckerd provides cost effective and outcome-driven alternative to secure detention for non-violent youth ages 10 – 17 that enables them to remain in their homes and addresses complex mental, emotional and behavioral needs while awaiting disposition.
  • In-Home Counseling – In the central Florida area, Eckerd provides in-home and in-school psychotherapy services to help youth and their families regain emotional stability. The ultimate treatment goal is to increase pro-social behaviors, coping skills and strengthen families.
  • Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT) – In the Pensacola, FL area, Eckerd provides Brief Strategic Family (BSFT) services. BSFT is a short-term, structured, problem-focused and practical approach to the treatment of conduct problems, associations with antisocial peers, early drug use and the accompanying maladaptive family interactions. BSFT is typically delivered in 12-16 sessions that involves all family members and seeks to change the way they relate to each other. BSFT is endorsed by SAMHSA, the United States Office of Juvenile Delinquency Prevention, the Blueprints for Violence Prevention, the National Institute on Drug Abuse, the State of Florida Department of Children and Families and the Society for Prevention Research.
