Roett Joins Eckerd Youth Alternatives as Director of Recruiting
CLEARWATER, Fla. Robyn Roett is the new director of recruiting for Eckerd Youth Alternatives (EYA), a leading private, non-profit organization serving at-risk and troubled youth through a range of 41 community-based and residential programs in eight states.
Roett will direct and develop the systems and resources needed to attract and maintain the extraordinary talent base at EYA.
“I’m passionate about kids,” Roett said. “With this job I can help make a difference in a child’s life. The organization’s success at reaching and helping at-risk kids depends upon its top-notch staff.”
Roett worked for Danka Business Systems PLC in St. Petersburg, Fla., for 15 years. She served as Director of Human Resources, responsible for recruiting and employee relations.
As a former caseworker for Child Protective Services in New York, Roett demonstrated her caring and compassion for kids and families.
“Robyn’s passion for kids and her wealth of experience in both the corporate world and in human services make her a great asset to the entire EYA organization,” said Betty Martin-Lewis, EYA vice president of human resources.
Roett received her bachelor’s degree in English and communications from Cabrini College in Radnor, Penn. She currently resides in Bradenton, Fla.
