Tuition and Financing Options

We understand financing treatment for your troubled teen is an important issue for most families. That’s why we have several options available to assist families in funding treatment for their child.

Low-Interest Loans
We are pleased to offer assistance in securing low-interest loans for your child's stay at an Eckerd Academy campus. Loans are offered through our financing partner, Clark Behavioral Health Financing, and this is often the most affordable way for families to enroll their children because payments can be spread over a period of time - rather than incurring tuition cost all at once.

Insurance
We advise parents to investigate whether their insurance policy includes benefits for residential treatment. Medicaid and most HMOs typically do not cover residential treatment programs. Although we do not bill insurance agencies directly,our Admissions Department can help you verify benefits and our Accounting Department can supply you with documentation and invoices to assist you in obtaining insurance reimbursement. Insurance companies typically require a recent clinical evaluation recommending the medical necessity of placing your child in a residential treatment program.

Tax Deductions
Some of your child’s tuition may be tax deductible. You may want to consult your tax advisor regarding the possibility of tax deductions regarding your child’s treatment.
