These Children Need Your Help
 She's the girl in your child's class who is neglected and abused at home. He's the boy down the street who has fallen in with the wrong crowd. They are just a few of the thousands of children nationwide who will turn to serious crime, addiction, violence or homelessness without your help.
There are many more children who are desperate for the chance to improve their lives. Most of our Outdoor Therapeutic Programs have waiting lists. Schools call daily asking for our Early Intervention and Prevention Services. Our Residential Therapeutic and Day Treatment Programs are in demand.
Choose to donate to a specific program if you like, or contribute to EYA’s general fund. Either way, your tax-deductible contribution will go directly to help save the life and the future of one of these children. Eckerd Youth Alternatives, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. All gifts may be tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Planned Giving
Think of the children in your estate plan. An investment in EYA is an investment in the lives and the future of vulnerable youth.
Since 1968, under the generous guidance of Jack and Ruth Eckerd and with the help of caring friends like you, Eckerd Youth Alternatives has:
- Helped over 80,000 at-risk youth turn their lives around through a range of more than 40 residential and community-based programs in Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, Tennessee, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont and Texas. About 10,000 children were helped last year alone!
- Developed an energized army of about 1,500 employees and volunteers dedicated to assisting vulnerable children and their families.
- Provided not just a roof over these children’s heads, but gave them the means to rebuild their lives through the learning of life skills.

Celebrate Generously
Getting married? Now you can support Eckerd Youth Alternatives by registering with the I Do Foundation.
The I Do Foundation’s Donation Registry service makes it easy for guests to make donations in lieu of gifts, and for couples to make charitable contributions in celebration of their wedding. Vehicle Donations
Donate your used car, truck, boat or RV to Eckerd Youth Alternatives and we’ll arrange to have it picked up free of charge. We accept most vehicles, even if they don’t run. Some restrictions may apply on older vehicles, though. It’s easy and convenient, and you may be eligible for a tax deduction as well!
Why donate my vehicle?
It’s much easier to donate your used vehicle than it is to sell it yourself. And the tax savings might even be more than what you would receive from a trade in. You’ll be spared the ordeal of selling your vehicle to a stranger, and you’ll help kids in the process!
