Laura joined Eckerd Connects in January 2006. Laura serves as the Executive Assistant to the President/CEO, the Eckerd Board of Directors and is the Corporate Secretary for the organization. Laura was previously Executive Assistant to the CEO of a local healthcare system where she worked closely with the Board of Directors, and coordinated and participated in all Executive Committee meetings, Annual Board retreats, Compliance Committee meetings, Quality Improvement and Strategic planning meetings. She also acted as liaison between executive staff and anti-trust counsel in the merger of Morton Plant and Mease hospitals. Before that she was the Senior Executive Assistant and Assistant Secretary for AEGON a nationally known insurance and securities organization for 17 years, where she, among other duties, assisted in the coordination of the company’s annual conventions for 600 plus representatives from all over the United States.
