Suncoast Credit Union Foundation Presents Eckerd Raising Hope with an $11,000 Grant for Local Foster Kids
Eckerd Kids announces an $11,000 grant from the Suncoast Credit Union Foundation to help abused and neglected children in Pinellas, Pasco and Hillsborough Counties through the Eckerd Kids’ Raising Hope program. The grant will provide children with new clothes and belongings as they enter foster care.
Eckerd Kids held a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially kick off expansion of the Angels Watch program. Eckerd Kids recognized North Carolina General Assembly Members Senator Tommy Tucker, Representative Chris Malone, Representative Marilyn Avila, and Representative Nelson Dollar during a ribbon cutting ceremony for funding the expansion.
On Sunday, October 9, foster families throughout Tampa Bay will visit the Rising Star Ranch & Auction to participate in a free Halloween themed event.
The 2016 ROMAN & ROMAN Tampa Bay Strongman Classic will benefit Eckerd Kids’ Raising Hope, a nonprofit that helps supply foster children with clothes, shoes, school supplies and other everyday items needed. The event is Saturday, October 22nd in Clearwater, FL. Entry is FREE to watch with a donation of a new set of kid’s socks, shoes or underwear.
