Kashley Sonnier, a sixteen-year old in Palmetto, LA entered the Eckerd Wraparound program in May of 2015, because she had been struggling with behavioral issues. They were able to provide the teen with a newly decorated bedroom.
The Eckerd Acadiana Area Wraparound Agency will host an open house on October 28, 2015. The public is invited to attend and learn more about the agency, which serves children and teenagers struggling with mental health and addiction disorders who are at risk of being placed outside the home.
National nonprofit Eckerd recently recognized Elizabeth “EJ” Babcock as its Director of the Year. EJ Babcock is director of Eckerd's CenLa Wraparound Agency, which coordinates state services for at-risk youth in and around Alaxandria, Louisiana.
The non-profit organization Eckerd on April 23rd will recognize two Rapides Parish educators and an Alexandria officer who have “gone above the call of duty” as part of Eckerd's third annual Gala on the Bayou.
