Eckerd provides services designed to help families reintegrate children into their homes after they have been in foster care or other out-of-home placements. Reunification services typically begin with the family while the child is still living outside of the home, helping to create a safe and successful transition. Services continue after the child returns home, with workers providing:
- Individual and family counseling
- Case management
- Client advocacy to support the reunification
Intensive Family Reunification services are provided at some service sites that feature more intensive in-home supports and 24-hour staff accessibility for crisis intervention and stabilization.
