Eckerd is a leading provider of Day Treatment services for delinquent youth ages 12 through 17 committed primarily through juvenile courts or referred by juvenile probation officers. Our day treatment services address delinquency and prevent more restrictive and costly residential interventions by helping youth learn to be more accountable, accept responsibility and achieve academic success.
Youth receive individualized, psychosocial and educational services that include:
- Psychosocial assessment
- Accredited education
- Small classroom environment
- Individual therapy
- Group therapy
- Family programs
- Case management
- Transition support and consultations with schools and families
Eckerd vans provide pick-up and drop-off services. Youth receiving day treatment services will:
- Attend an on-site, accredited school
- Receive care for special needs
- Work to complete any court sanctions
This service emphasizes self-esteem building, family counseling, peer group process and education.
