For 45 years, Eckerd has provided residential therapeutic treatment for boys and girls who have behavioral and emotional issues. We specialize in helping youth who have failed in other residential placements or have not responded to less-restrictive, community-based interventions. Although referral sources and placement criteria vary for each campus, our overall goal is the same: to provide highly effective, strengths- and evidence-based treatment that enable youth to reach their full potential and continue achieving therapeutic progress at home or through community-based interventions. This serene campus in Floral City, FL (about an hour north of Tampa) specializes in treating troubled girls ages 12 through 18 who are referred by their families, psychologists, psychiatrists or child welfare professionals.
